Team and Tactics v QPR (Away)
We don't appear to have any injuries, aside from Silva's bad back. I've an idea Silva won't be risked in this encounter anyway, along with a few others who played in Spain, and I'm assuming Kompany serves a suspension.
So, rested to the bench I have some of the players who played midweek, like Silva, Yaya, Clichy, Aguero and Balotelli.
This starting eleven looks very capable of doing a job at Loftus Road, but as usual there will be a very strong bench to come on and change things if necessary.
------------------Hart---------------------
Richards-----Savic------Lescott------Kolarov
-----------Barry-----------De Jong----------
Milner-------------------------------Johnson
------------------Nasri--------------------
------------------------Dzeko--------------
QPR are going down but they are determined to have a good time while they are here; I reckon they've got half a dozen games that they'll be treating like Cup Finals and this is one of them. SWP and Barton will be up for it and Colin will have his team, (including the thuggish Shaun Derry if not injured) going at us like men possessed.
It's time for AJ to make an impression from the start, All he needs to show is that he can defend as well as he can attack, in the same way Silva, Nasri, Yaya, Barry(now and then) and most excellently Milner do.
A little stat from the BBC:
QPR at home average a goal every 180 mins
City away average a goal every 25 mins.
So, it's all set for a banana skin!
