Bayern Munich v City - Champions League
The thoughts of some of mancityblues.com forum members ahead of the big game tonight:
Bayern have gotten off to a great start in the Bundesliga this year; 9 wins out of 9 lots of goals scored and none conceded...none...not one goal. Doesn't sound good does it? But then again they probably haven't played a team like City yet.
Uneasy feelings aside I think we have more than a chance in this game. During his ramblings on MotD Alan Hansen did actually say something that made sense. No, honestly, he did. He pointed out that our formation of playing four players, in Dzeko, Aguero, Silva and Nasri, in loose free flowing roles will work better away from home as there will be more room for it to work - Bayern certainly won't try an Everton on us. So hopefully Bobby will stick with the same policy and the same team that started against the toffees.

Say what you may but this is it boys. Biggest much so far in the recent City history. I mean this by the size of attention it gets across the world and to be honest I have an uneasy feeling about this.
Full house, Neuer, Lahm, Schweinteiger, Ribery, Muller, Gomez, Kroos, Robben and old City boys van Buyten and Boateng are the names to be taken seriously. Tough night ahead I reckon...I hope that big mouth Boateng will be embarrassed big time!
My suggestion for the starting line upHart
Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy
Milner YaYa Barry
Aguero Dzeko SilvaAJ is injured so he wont be available, maybe de Jong could play part if we are ahead. Milner and Barry must help out defence cause Bayer will attack and they got crafty players to do so.
We must avoid same kind of mistake we made against Napoli. If there is danger of counter just make the professional foul take the yellow and get organized thank you...
Dark Defender
I have an uneasy feeling about this encounter, my disquiet is based purely on the fact that Bayern Munich are rather good at the football.
