As a United fan I can appreciate your thoughts and aspirations.Gone are the days indeed for City when they floundered in mediocrity and it is evident to see the strength in spirit of team and club and its elevation to the next level. We(United)have gone from "we'll beat them(City),"to we might beat them,to I hope we beat them?"This illustrates how far they have come.I am united through and through but see no occasion to be vile in my conduct towards the renewed and rightful rivals or allow my etiquette to suffer from social misbehavior.I am merely paying a compliment and look forward to the next season when we do battle again. Our empire as it were, will come to rest once the "SAF" calls it a day.A sad day indeed for us reds.

I am also a United fan, and I second the point of a 'renewed' rivalry. The week running up to the derby yesterday, I definatly had a City win in the back of my mind, or even a draw. I was hoping for a win.
But with this new team at City, the next few seasons will be eventful.
Also, I say good luck to getting forth spot. Because I would rather see two Manchester teams in the Champions League than more from down south or Liverpool.

Well I'm a united fan too and I'd like to thank City for 6 MASSIVE points this season, and just to say how I will be if these points mean we win our 19th title and City miss out on the champions league. HaHaHa

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Because of the stupidity of the system top four is everything, fifth may as well be fifteenth because once we are in the "Champions League" (and I DO hate the fact that its not only champions who are in it) then we can really progress. Will Torres for instance join the team that finished fifth?!?!?!

Torres won't be joining anyone from a hospital bed. Coming fifteenth is providing cannon fodder, fifth placers have given it a good go and get European Football, just not the big payday of the Champs league.
