Still crazy after all these years!
Half-time. 1-1 at the Bridge
I have no idea about or interest in line-ups, or tactics, because Chelsea are so good, and Mancini so poor as a manager and motivator, that the result is almost a foregone conclusion - Chelsea will win at a canter, Drogba, Lampard and the odious Terry will score, and the campaign to recruit Mourinho will become ever more lurid.*
On the other hand, I'm a bloody optimist, at least when it comes to City. Somewhere deep inside every City fan is a tiny spark of hope, kept aflame in the most difficult and torturous of times. This season, the highs have been many, despite what some supporters may have one believe, and in some ways this has made the lows really tough to bear. So, if you're lucky enough to be going to Stamford Bridge tomorrow (and I think anyone who can afford to see this game live is lucky in so many ways), give an extra cheer for me, and the other City fans like me, who are still hopeful, still philosophical, and still crazy after all these years.
Come on you Blues.
