What's going on?
There seems to be a problem on the boards:
Dear Man City fans,
I'm a little bewildered as to why there is so much negativity towards RM on all the City forums I go on- even the posters who I would say are generous in giving time to our new managers seem to be up in arms.
His record for me is not that bad, there was a post up on BM this morning showing that in the last 8 games we have 18 points- same as Chelsea and 1 less than the rags.
Is it that ye want all out attacking football with two wingers or is it a hangover from the defeat to the rags?
I just don't get it
By the way, if pool beat arse tonight and we win our two games in hand we go above arse into 3rd place and we still have to play Spurs, Pool, Villa at home.
Yours etc,

PLK definitely has a point, fans are dissatisfied with what they see as negativity on the field, THREE defensive midfielders - at home - against Notlob?
My personal opinion is that Mancini can't afford many if any losses. He has a target to reach in a relatively short number of games, and has learned that life in the Premiership is not all pretty flicks and nutmegs, it hard and fast and physical. At the present, or since he arrived, we have been weak in defence, either through injury, international calls, or inexperience.
Mancini's first task was to school the defence, and that he has done without being able to call on his first team choices. That situation is gradually improving, thankfully, so Mancini will be more confident to attack, and give his forward players more confidence to push.
Thank God for Tevez, we have been saying, and Ade's goal last night was out of the top drawer. Mancini's two purchases in the last transfer window have made an immediate impact, notice, and although he didn't get Mariga, he done good. Hopefully.
Let's now support the current Manager and the team and hope he lasts longer than the last bloke - we don't want any more learning curves thank you, we need Mancini to become a success as much as Mancini himself needs to be successful. It's there for the taking.

Suspect most of the criticism is down to not understanding the man or his tactics.
This is not really surprising given we lack a settled back 4 due to Africa , injuries etc and as such more defensive cover from midfield is only natural. This then naturally impinges on the midfield options and we are likely to see more of the pragmatic approach seen last night - especially given our next few fixtures. Question is do we want to see a solid 433 and probably win OR a more fluid formation and risk leaving ourselves open at the back and possibly lose?
Frankly I`ve waited long enough for success and if we have to do it ugly so be it!
In any event we can expect more of the Sylvinho type of substitutions as RM seeks to close out a winning situation.
Going to City is a hobby, supposed to be fun. Being tortured by playing well and continually getting beaten is fine. Watching us pass the ball across the back four for 90 minutes is f*kin tedious at best.
at least we are winning games, boring and winning is better than boring and shite, i've had 12 years of the latter
Personally, I hope the owners spend a few dozen million on redesigning one end of the stadium so we have a Kop. I'm not for a minute suggesting Liverpool fans are great, but at least they have one area of their ground which is, to a degree, self-policing.
In the space of 10 years we've gone from having fans to be proud of to being an embarrassment to the club. Just my opinion.
