Time for some away success at Goodison

After a hard and long game in the semis and a draw against Chelsea in midweek, hopefully Everton will be feeling the strain on Saturday.

We are due for an away win at last, surely the rest this week can give us some momentum? We have had time to prepare properly and Hughes will want a push towards seventh spot tomorrow. Just because we will be relying on other results to reach it doesn't mean we should give up trying, there's no European football for us next season otherwise, only a domestic double. Ha ha!

Zabaleta is almost certainly out, SWP and Bellamy too, so the likely team is:

Should we need a substitute that will run around getting in everybody's way except the opposition's Hughes can bring on Gelson Fernandes again!

I can't see it myself. Everton have arguably just had there best week of football this decade having reached the FA Cup final, versus 1st place Man.u, and then got an away draw at 2nd place Chelsea 3 days later. Not conceding a goal in 210 minutes versus the countries best 2 clubs. And without SWP and Bellamy, I can't see we'll upset what will be something of a party atmosphere at Goodison. Especially on our away form this year.

But hey, if football always played to form, we'd never bother playing the games right? Anything could happen.
