City Ratings for West Brom game
That was a City classic. If it's entertainment you want, come to Eastlands.
Given 5 - less than stellar performance, although did make 1 or 2 crucial saves.
Zabaleta 6 - gave his all again, but fatigue and fitness let him down, especially when Jay Simpson came on for WBA.
Dunne 4 - the City captain is too easily bamboozled - is the pace of the Premiership becoming to much?
Onuoha 7 - carried Dunne for much of the game, made some vital decisions and nice goal.
Bridge 4 - too easily beaten/bypassed - probably not fit.
De Jong 5 - not convincing, hopefully will be up to speed by the start of next season.
Kompany 5 - ok, nothing more. Needs to get his injury issues sorted.
Elano 6 - this game summed Elano up in a nutshell - obvious quality combined with physical shortcomings. Another cool penalty.
Ireland 6 - tough to rate in this game. Made 2 assists, but not effective when WBA had possession, probably due to fatigue.
Robinho 7 - one of his better games recently, showed real effort and commitment. Very happy he scored.
Caciedo 6 - did ok - if he can keep developing his game, he could be worth keeping hold of.
Subs:
Sturridge 5 - nothing special, easy goal.
Petrov 6 - looked sharper and quicker than last time. Lets hope he's back to his best soon.
Gelson 5 - did a job.
Hughes 5 - lucky result for him today, but to be fair the team looks dead on it's feet. Time to take it easy in training?
