The national press is running scared at the moment. They know that very few titles will be in business inside the next few years. Before the internet came of age as a source for all my news (sport, business, politics, etc etc), I used to buy a couple of newspapers daily and several at weekends. Now I do not buy any and never will again. Am I alone? You bet your life I'm not, Fleet Street was a grand old institution now it is the street of shame.
So the journos are running scared and peddling more and more sensational lies, half truths and dreamed-up tosh. They know that most of them will be out of work and are desperate. How I will laugh when that day dawns.

A good piece of anti-city joutnalist investigative journalism if you get my drift.

There has for many years been an element of embarrassment attached to being a city fan but we are strong enough to live with that unlike the fickle reds.

We have to keep remnding ourselves that we should take all of this press speculation with a large pinch of salt.

We are moving forwards and it will take time. Of course we are going to get beaten by other teams as we grow it is to be expected.

As time passes I think we will see a more consistent game from us and that will only improve feeling around the club.

The reds will probably jump ship as soon as Fergie hangs up chewing gum.

Before you know it they will be writing about the turmoil of the new management regimes there and we can sit back and watch the results come in.

Just another thought to City fans. When you see this negative press you should note the newspapers that allow their Red jounalists to write it and boycott them because if they sales go down then they will stop writing the garbage.

Out!
