Unfortunately the dry wit of your story was too high brow for the previous posters and they didn't quite "get it".

You will need to dumb it down for them I'm afraid.

Looks like there are a lot of people not getting the story!

Perhaps if you referred directly to SWP some of our slower colleagues might twig what you are talikng about.

P.S. - They don't like us much do they?

It does not take a lot of intelligence to "get" the story and it's true meaning. It is however fairly offensive in it's context and maybe a little too strong for a football blog, maybe an analogy of a burglar being seen by a Policeman "letting himself in" to a house would of sufficed. After all, this isn't the Sun newspaper!!!

The point is strong but the analogy is just too stupid to grace your normally excellent page.

Exactly who sits on the FA panal?
More importantly....
which teams do they follow?
In the interests of transparency I think the football fans all need to know how these 'Judge Judys' dispatch their version of justice.

It was a strong analogy, although the FA's actions are so shocking it pales by comparison really.

We intend to highlight the FA's inconsistencies wherever we can, the intention is to provoke people into responding and we understand the "crazy" terms, but I can assure you BT is only crazy when somebody attacks our club.

I think some people are missing the whole point, yes it is a shocking analogy but this would never happen in the real world would it. What the FA do is just as silly as this analogy and shows how inconsistent they are. I believe the rule book at the FA has so many Grey areas as to protect their darling clubs when they need to and to punish the clubs they deem non conformant like ourselves.

Christ there are some patronising replies here.
It wasn't that i didn't 'get it,' i just thought it came across as a very poor way of making the point and i stand by that opinion.
Even if it was 'intentionally silly' i still think the point could have been made in a much better way.
Some people are just unbelievably smug.
